The AJ-R1062 wireless interlinked remote controller is a supplementary device that is designed to “Test” and “Hush” the AJ-760SI wireless interconnected smoke alarms.
The wireless remote controller is powered by a DC12V small Alkaline battery with the battery life of about 2-3 years. The remote comes with a wall bracket and screws for easy installation to a wall.
There is the “Hush” button on the remote controller. When there is a false alarm, or you have resolved a fire situation, you can easily press the “HUSH” button to silent the detector.
When a smoke alarm activates all of the smoke alarms will also activate, pressing the “Hush” button on the remote will silence all other alarms except the alarm that activated.
This wireless remote controller is an easy way to test and hush your alarms but this is also able to be done on the alarm itself.
